Tara Performing Arts High School's 9th grade is getting a firsthand look at how comedy evolved from commedia dell'arte as they work on their play, "The Servant of Two Masters" with its exaggerated characters, ridiculous storyline and live sound effects. We can't wait to see their cunning plans and hilarious antics come to life!
(Photos from our 2013 and 2006 performances of the same play.)

Last week, the seniors returned from their epic leadership expedition on the Green River through Desolation and Gray Canyons, an immersive 10 days through 84 miles of Utah’s rugged and stunningly beautiful wilderness.

This week, they participated in 4 Leadership Discussion Days, holding in-depth conversations with their Class Sponsors and Leadership Council members about key aspects of life at Tara and preparing to put their peer leadership skills to daily use at school, in rehearsals and in life beyond Tara.

This is our home.

A place to learn, create, perform, travel, explore, and grow together. A place where the classroom reaches far beyond its walls and into the wider world.

This year, we’re opening that experience to more students.

35 full and partial scholarships are available.

Maybe Tara could be your home, too.

35 full or partial scholarships, one door into an extraordinary educational experience.

Tara students travel the world, perform on stage, and wrestle with big ideas, often all in the same semester. The performing arts sit at the center of our curriculum, not as an extracurricular, but as a lens through which students learn to think, collaborate, and engage with everything around them. Faculty who are genuinely passionate about their subjects, combined with first-hand encounters with culture and history, push that curiosity further.

We are newly committed to making sure that no one is turned away due to lack of funds. Apply now. Link in bio.
