Tara’s Scholarship Fund
Engaging academics. Compelling theatre. World travel.
Tara’s intentional integration of the Waldorf high school curriculum with the performing arts emphasizes demanding academics, small classes and deep connections between students and faculty. Students flourish as individuals within the intimate and supportive community at Tara.
A Tara education allows individual students the opportunity to mature into well-rounded, deeply inquisitive, and profoundly engaged young adults who are passionate about life long learning and prepared for a variety career paths: from professional artists and performers, to software developers, lawyers, astrophysicists and entrepreneurs.
In order to ensure that this unique educational experience is accessible to all, regardless of family financial situations, we need your help.
Most private schools are only available to those who can financially commit to a costly annual tuition. At Tara, we offer partial scholarships so students with financial challenges can still benefit from a Tara experience. In the last five years, Tara has awarded over $650,000 dollars of tuition assistance to students and families in need of scholarship support.
Our goal is to raise the equivalent of two full scholarships at Tara each year – for a total of $35,000.
Tara is more than a Waldorf performing arts high school – it is a school for the adventurous, imaginative and dedicated students of the world.
We need to keep Tara’s scholarship program vibrant and successful for the students of the future.
