Nomad Purchase Project

Erin Agee, Assistant Attorney General at the Colorado Attorney General's office, Tara class of 2001:
I have many fond memories of rehearsals and performances at the Nomad Theater as a student of Tara. It was there that my young heart and mind were encouraged to engage, to imagine, to question and to take risks all for the sake of creating something powerful and beautiful with a group of people - a play.
It is this kind of artistic education that I think is actually critical to creating a more compassionate and functional world community. As an attorney, I regularly see the importance of bringing an open mind to the contentious matters with which we deal. It so often takes creativity, and imagination, and courage to view an issue from a different perspective or to work toward a resolution that meets the needs of all involved.
We need the law, but we also need art. And Tara is the very vehicle that enables such artistic imagination. And the Nomad Theater is what's needed to bring that education to greater heights.
