About Acceptance to TaraSpace permitting, Tara will consider for admission all students interested in what the school offers, willing to work hard in a challenging academic program, and able to function socially in a group. We realize that some who thrive in the performing arts are very gifted academically, others have learning challenges, and the rest fall in between. Within limits, we hope to be able to serve this range of needs. The level of teaching is directed towards the A or A Honors student, but all students are eligible to earn an Honors level A when their work in a given course far exceeds what is required and comes from their own motivation and talent. In the event that we accept a remedial student, any additional support he or she will need to perform in Tara’s challenging academic environment will be the financial responsibility of the parents, above and beyond the regular tuition and fees.
