Enrollment Guidelines and InstructionsThank you for considering Tara Performing Arts High School for your high school experience. The enrollment process is as follows:
After this process has been completed, the student's application, visit and interview will be reviewed by the directors. Within a week, families will be notified about the decision of acceptance into the school. If the student has been accepted, an enrollment packet will be sent. |

About Acceptance to TaraTara will consider for admission all students, space permitting, who have an interest in what the school offers, the willingness to work hard in a challenging academic program, and the ability to function socially in a group. We realize that some students who thrive in the performing arts are very gifted academically, others have learning challenges, and the rest fall in between. Within limits, we hope to be able to serve this range of needs. The level of academic teaching is directed towards the A or A Honors student, but all students are eligible to earn an Honors level A when their work in a given course far exceeds what is required and comes from their own motivation and talent. In the event that we accept a remedial student, any additional support he or she will need to perform in the challenging academic environment at Tara will be the financial responsibility of the parents, above and beyond the regular tuition and fees. |
