Campus

Tara is situated on 2 acres in North Boulder, at 4180 Nineteenth Street. The main driveway entrance is off of Riverside Dr. (map)

The campus is still being developed. During Work Week 2008, students, faculty and parents (led by alumni parent Kini Christie) laid a beautiful 1000+ sq. ft. lawn, planted a perennial garden and added a sand volleyball court. These projects were funded by generous donations from Tara parents and other supporters.

The next phase of our development will be a multi-purpose performance barn that opens to the central courtyard. This will become the main rehearsal space for our theatre and movement work. It will also contain a full basement for costume storage, dressing rooms, music rooms and a set shop.

Future plans include the building of a state-of-the-art science lab, large main lesson classrooms and a movement space. Together, the 3 buildings will define an outdoor courtyard, and will support all of Tara’s program needs.
